Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and afternoon boat cruise
Once you arrive at the Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our driver guide. He or she will brief you about the 5 days Uganda Gorillas Mid-Range Safari. You will start your 5-hour drive journey to Lake Mburo National Park. At the Uganda Equator, you will take some photos, perform some water experiments, and step into the two hemispheres of the earth at the same time. Proceed with an en-route lunch. You will enter the park via the Nshara Gate. At this point, you will be seeing some animals. Go to the lake for a boat cruise. You will see many crocodiles and hippos. Later on, you will check in to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 2: Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will head out to Lake Mburo National Park’s savannah plains in search of wildlife. A morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park is the best way to get up close with wildlife like leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, and zebras. You will set your eyes on the early risers of the park. return to your lodge for relaxation and lunch. Later on, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park is famous for being home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Additionally, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 3: Mountain gorilla trekking and Batwa community tour

Later on, you proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing about mountain gorilla trekking. The briefing will teach about the gorilla trekking rules and regulations governing gorilla trekking. After the briefing, you start on the search for these giant apes. You will be led by professional rangers. Once you meet the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour in their presence. Bwindi is home to many primates and birds. Return to your lodge for relaxation and lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the Batwa communities and learn about their traditions. You will take part in several activities like making fire and brewing local beer. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Explore Lake Bunyonyi
Lake Bunyonyi is yours to wash away the dust and cool at the shores. After breakfast, you will visit Lake Bunyonyi and explore the 29 islands as you learn about their history. The lake is home to many bird species. Community tours and high ropes are all yours to participate in. You will spend the night at a safari lodge near the lake.

Day 5: Transfer to Kampala – Departure
