6 Days Uganda Gorillas and Tree–Climbing Lions Safari
The 6 days Uganda gorillas and tree-climbing lions safari will take you to the Bwindi impenetrable national park home to half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas and this is the best place to see the gorillas. The Queen Elizabeth National Park is the home to the tree-climbing lions. During the safari, you will have game viewing within the Kasenyi plains of the Queen Elizabeth National Park and also the boat cruise in the Kazinga channel. The tree-climbing lions of the Ishasha sector are one of the highlights of this safari trip.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On day 1 of the 6 days Uganda gorillas and tree-climbing lions safari, you will be transferred to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the southwestern part of Uganda for the gorilla trekking. You will make a stopover at the equator for photography. Then, you continue to Mbarara where you will have your en-route lunch. Later on, you will proceed to the park. Upon arrival, you will check in to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After your early morning breakfast, you will start the day with the transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing about the gorilla trekking. Then later, you will proceed with the activity within the park. The gorilla trekking will last about 1 to 7 hours of the day the time you meet the gorillas. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them seeing them in their natural habitat. After the trekking, you will continue to the Batwa cultural community to know how they live in their daily community.

Day 3: Transfer to the Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will have your morning breakfast and then embark on the transfer to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will arrive in the southern sector of the park or Ishasha sector where you will have lunch. After your lunch, you will go ahead with the game drive in the southern sector to track the tree-climbing lions and other wildlife within the park. The other wildlife that, you will see include the Kobs, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and many others. Then you will go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full-day adventure in the Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will proceed with the early morning breakfast and drive into the park for the tracking of the tree-climbing lions. During the morning hours, it is best when to see the lions still up in the trees. The other species to be seen during the game drive are leopards, elephants, warthogs, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, and many others. During the afternoon, it is the best time to track the tree-climbing lions in the area. you will proceed to the Kasenyi landing site within the park to observe the activities done on the landing site within the park.

Day 5 Transfer to the Kazinga Channel for the boat cruise
On day 5 of the 6 days Uganda gorillas and tree-climbing lions safari, you will proceed with the transfer to the northern sector of the Queen Elizabeth National Park. During the transfer, you will observe the change in the area vegetation. You will have a drive through the dusty roads of the Ishasha sector. As you arrive in the northern sector of the park, you will start with lunch and then push to the Kazinga channel. While at the Kazinga Channel, you will have a boat cruise at the Kazinga Channel. During the boat cruise, you will see different wildlife like elephants, buffaloes, hippos, monitor lizards, and many others. In the evening, you return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Kampala
You start the last day of the 6 days Uganda gorillas and tree-climbing lions safari, you will start the day with breakfast. Then after, you will go ahead with the transfer to Kampala. You will make a stopover for lunch and then later continue to Kampala. Upon arrival in Kampala, you will either be dropped off at the airport or the hotel. This will mark the end of your safari with us.
