Details of the One Week Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Kibale National Park

Meet and greet your guide/driver, who will take you through the entire 7 days Uganda Wildlife Safari. Your guide will take you through a briefing about the tour, including destinations, accommodation, and activities to do during the tour. Later, you will begin a scenic drive to Kibale National Park, taking you about 5 hours with a lunch break in Fort Portal.

Kibale National Park is popular for having the largest concentration of chimpanzees in the world, which makes it the primate capital of the world. The park offers a chance to see chimpanzees in their natural habitat, thus a magical sighting. Get ready to have an incredible adventure. Arrive at the park and check into your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Community Tour

Rise early in the morning with a mouth-watering breakfast, and later gather at the park headquarters for a briefing about the Chimpanzee trekking experience, which includes trekking rules and regulations to follow when observing the chimpanzees in their natural habitats. After you find the chimpanzees, you will spend 1 hour with them and then return to the starting point, where you will receive your Chimpanzee Trekking permits.

After lunch, you will have a community walk taking you to the villages of the local people, where you will learn more about their traditional lifestyle of the local people, take part in their traditional music, dance and drama. Return to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse national parks, located approximately 3 hours from Kibale National Park in western Uganda, renowned for the beautiful crater lakes and diverse wildlife, including the tree-climbing lions in Ishasha, part of the park. At Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will spot various animals and take a scenic boat cruise. Arrive at the lodge and have your In the evening, you may take a relaxing nature walk to unwind from the long day of adventure. Have a pleasant dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Morning Game Safari and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Start your day with a hearty breakfast and later start a game drive through the Kasenyi part of the park, which is popular for game drive safaris. You will spot a variety of animal species, including the Uganda Kob, lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, warthogs and different bird species, providing a perfect time for photography.

After lunch, you will head out for an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel, which is a natural waterway connecting Lake George to Lake Edward. Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Expect to have an adventure of a lifetime as you have time to see the mountain gorillas in their natural environment. Arrive at the lodge and check in for your dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking Day

After breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters, where you will receive a briefing about Gorilla Trekking from the park rangers. The briefing details the rules and regulations to follow while observing gorillas. Set off for an epic gorilla trekking experience in search of the mountain gorillas as you spot other wildlife in the park.

Once you find gorillas, you will stay 1 hour with them in their presence as you learn about their way of life, as well as collect photo moments with these creatures. After trekking, you will return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Experience a peaceful overnight and dinner.

Day 7: Transfer to Entebbe International Airport and Departure

Indulge in a relaxed breakfast at the lodge and later begin your journey back to Entebbe International Airport, taking you approximately 9 hours by road.
