Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Moshi town and transfer to Lemosho gate (2385 m)
You will be picked up from Moshi town the nearest town to the Mountain Kilimanjaro and transferred to the Lemosho gate. On arrival at this gate, you will register with the officials at the gate and then you start the hike. You will start the hike at this point of the Lemosho gate to the big tree camp. On arrival at this camp, you will relax from there for an overnight and dinner.

Day 2: Transfer from big Tree camp to Shira Camp 1 (3500)
On this day, you will cross the forests heading to Shira Camp 1. You will pass through the plateau of the grass moorland and heather scattered with the volcanic rock formation. At this camp, you will have views of Kibo Peak. You will camp at the Shira 1 Camp for an overnight.

Day 3: Transfer from Shira Camp 1 to Shira Camp 2 (3900)
After your relaxed night, you will proceed with a transfer from Shira Camp 1 to Shira Camp 2. Hike through the Shira plateau where you will have the opportunity to like the western breaches if the skies are clear. And you will also continue to climatize to high altitudes and camps.

Day 4: Walk from Shira Camp 2 to Barranco Camp (3960)
You have to start your trekking with the panoramic views, heading into the desert upland climatic zones and with the glacier lava ridges. During this day, you will reach the highest point of the lava tower which will be the highest point of the day. Day 5: Trek from Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
You will start your day descending into the great Barranco Valley with a big ravine. Later, you will exit the Barranco wall which separates us from the southern Kibo. The trek will involve the climbing of the rock which will be long and tiresome. You will pass underneath the Heim and Kerstin glaciers heading towards the Karanga valley. Then you will head to the Karanga camp for the overnight and dinner.

Day 6: Trek from Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
On this day, you will start with breakfast. Proceed with a trek to Barafu Camp with a hike on desolate screed slopes with no vegetation at all and its tough steep caused by the altitude. On arrival at this camp, you will have lunch, relaxation, and night as you prepare. You are reminded to always keep hydrated and warm as you prepare for a hike to the summit. Day 7: Transfer from Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Crater Camp
You will proceed with an early morning breakfast and continue with the hike to the summit. In the afternoon, you will arrive at the Uhuru Peak summit, and at this summit, you will relax and then proceed to the Crater camp. The Crater camp is one of the challenging principles that you can add to your hike. Upon arrival at the camp, you will spend there a night.

Day 8: Trek from Crater Camp to Millennium Camp
