Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Uganda
You can meet our driver guide when you arrive at the Kigali International Airport in Rwanda or after breakfast at your hotel. The gorilla habituation takes 4 to 8 hours, during which you’ll have the chance to observe the gorillas in their natural habitat. The park is also home to various primate species, including colobus monkeys, and a rich diversity of bird species. You’ll witness the gorillas as they play, mate, and dine, then return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Batwa communities for an amazing cultural tour. You will participate in their day-to-day activities, which include preparing traditional meals, dancing, making crafts, weaving baskets, brewing local beer, and more.
