Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in southern Uganda near the Congo border and Rwanda, adjacent to the Virunga ranges. The Park is one of the few UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization) heritage sites, making it popular and entrusted with its activities. It is famous for its endangered mountain gorillas, bird species of about 346 different types, over 250 trees, and 200 butterflies, making it one of the most visited parks in Uganda.

Bwindi National Park covers an area of about 321 km2, and this vast land provides room for animal prosperity and multiplication, mainly the mountain gorillas.

Wake up from your hotel, have breakfast, and then, after breakfast, at around 8:00 a.m., our driver guide will pick you up and give you a briefing about the entire journey. Later, you will have to depart.

The journey will take between 7-8 hours but with stopovers at the Equator where the world is at Zero degrees (00 ). You will take pictures, there are also craft shops if you want to buy some souvenirs and then embark on the journey southwards. You will reach the hotel late in the evening, and check-in in for an overnight stay.

Day 2. Gorilla trekking, visit Bayenda Falls, and a Cultural tour

Track these apes and then continue to the falls. Another exciting activity is seeing the waters flow from a high altitude. You will find a lot of birds since the park is home to over 346 bird species, thus giving a clear room for birders to meet their favorites.

After the Gorilla Trekking experience in Bwindi, you will return to your hotel for lunch and relaxation. After lunch at 3:00 pm, you may go for a cultural tour. Bwindi is mainly occupied by three tribes, the Batwa, Bakiga, and Bafumbira. But the most interesting and most visited is the Batwa. You will enjoy their dances, and they will show you their ancient houses like Omurimbo, where they used to rest and acted as a store for meat, honey, etc. After this fascinating activity, you will return to the lodge for relaxation and an overnight stay.
