Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and hotel transfer
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full-day adventure at Mabamba Wetland
After an early breakfast at the hotel in Entebbe, you will be transferred to Mabamba Wetland for a full day of exploration. Here, you will track the elusive shoebill using canoes as you navigate the swamp. You may also encounter other wildlife, such as sitatunga and various bird species. In the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Day three begins with breakfast, followed by a transfer to Kibale National Park in western Uganda, which will take approximately 5 to 6 hours. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel for lunch before embarking on a walk to the Bigodi community. During this visit, you will explore the swamp and have the chance to observe several monkey species, including colobus monkeys. You will be taken to the hotel for lunch before embarking on a walk to the Bigodi community. During your time in this community, you will have the opportunity to stroll around the swamp, where you can observe various species of monkeys, including colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, L’hoests monkeys, and vervet monkeys, among others. Following this, you will be transferred to the community to participate in activities such as banana brewing and coffee roasting.

Day 4: Full Day Adventure in Kibale National Park
This day is dedicated to an extensive adventure in Kibale National Park, beginning with an orientation on the procedures for tracking monkeys within the park. You will then proceed with the activity, equipped with a packed lunch. While exploring the park, you will encounter several monkey species, including Uganda mangabeys, red-tailed monkeys, vervet monkeys, blue monkeys, and mantled guereza, among others. In the evening, you will be transferred back to the lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 5: Transfer to Semuliki National Park
On the penultimate day of your 6 days monkeys and shoebill tour in Uganda, you will transfer to Semuliki National Park. Upon your arrival, you will engage in tracking various monkey species found in the park. The species you may encounter are similar to those in the Congo Basin, including galagos, pottos, olive baboons, vervet monkeys, and blue monkeys, among others.

Day 6: Nature Walk to the Hot Springs and Transfer to Kampala
On the final day of your safari, you will start with breakfast before embarking on a walk through the forest to visit the Sempaya hot springs located within the area. After your visit, you will proceed with your transfer to Kampala. Upon your arrival in Kampala, you will be transferred to your next destination.
