8 Days Uganda Budget Safari
This 8 days Uganda budget safari will take you to the different national parks of Uganda. During the safari, travelers will visit destinations like Murchison Falls National Park, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Kibale National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. These destinations offer different activities like the game drive, boat cruise, gorilla, and chimpanzee trekking.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to the Murchison Falls National Park
On day 1 of the 8 days Uganda budget safari, you will be transferred to the Murchison Falls National Park in northwestern Uganda. You will make a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. Later, you will go ahead with the transfer to the Murchison Falls National Park. Lunch will be along the way at a hotel in Masindi.

Day 2: Full-day adventure in the Murchison Falls National Park
On this day, you will start with an early morning game drive. During the game drive, you will have a chance to spot some of the wildlife in the park like lions, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, and many others. Later, you will go ahead with the boat cruise on the Victoria Nile. During the boat cruise, you will see several aquatic and other wildlife like elephants, hippos, Nile crocodiles, and many others. Later on in the evening, you will hike to the top of the falls.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park and Bigodi Wetland walk
After your early morning breakfast, you will go ahead with the transfer to the Kibale National Park. While on the transfer you will experience a change in the vegetation cover. On arrival in Kibale, you will start over with lunch and then later you will visit the Bigodi community. During the visit, you will engage in different activities like birding, nature walks, coffee roasting, banana brewing, and many others.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
On day 4 of the 8-day Uganda budget safari, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for the briefing about the chimpanzee trekking. You will then proceed to track the chimpanzees in the forest. The activity will take about 2 to 7 hours of the day. Then later you will go ahead with the transfer to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival in the park, will make a stopover at the equator. Then later you will go ahead to the lodge.

Day 5: Full-day adventure in Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will be transferred into the park for the early morning game drive where you will spot a variety of wildlife like lions, elephants, warthogs, kobs, leopards, and many others. Then you will engage in the picnic breakfast at the favorite spot of your choice in the park. In the afternoon, you will go ahead to the Kazinga Channel for the boat cruise. During the boat cruise at the Kazinga channel, you will see a variety of wildlife. Later in the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
During day 6 of the 8-day Uganda budget safari, you will start over the day with the transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will make a stopover in the Ishasha sector to track the tree-climbing lions of the park. The other wildlife to be spotted include leopards, elephants, kobs, warthogs, buffaloes, and many others. Then you will continue to the park and upon arrival in the park, you will check into the lodge.

Day 7: Gorilla trekking and Batwa Community Tour
You will go ahead to the park headquarters for the briefing about the gorilla trekking in the park. You will be highlighted about the dos and don’ts about the gorilla trekking. The activity will take you about 2 to 7 hours of the day. Each gorilla family is visited by a group of 8 people each day. Once you meet the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour in their presence. Later on, you will visit the neighboring Batwa Pygmies. Take part in their activities and create memories. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Transfer back to Kampala – Departure
After your morning breakfast, you will go ahead with the transfer back to Kampala. Upon arrival in Kampala, you will be transferred to the hotel of your choice or the airport for your outbound flights.
