Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Akagera National Park
After breakfast at your hotel or arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you will meet our driver guide. You will take a city tour in Kigali. Visit the Nyamatta Church, King’s Palace, Genocide Museum, and the local markets. Later on, you will drive to the Akagera National Park. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema
The day will start with a delicious breakfast. Later you will go for a game drive in the park. This game drive will introduce you to many animals including warthogs, lions, buffaloes, elephants, and many more. You will see many species of birds as well. Return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will take a boat ride on Lake Ihema. The boat ride will introduce you to schools of hippos and crocodiles. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali – Departure
Wake up to a leisurely breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and drive to Kigali. Traverse the endless rolling hills of Rwanda while making stops for photography.
