Details of the Luxury Safari

Day 1: Pick up and Drive to Murchison Falls Via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Your safari guide/driver will pick you up and brief you on your 5-day Uganda Luxury Safari, including accommodation, transport, other guides, and activities. Your journey to Murchison Falls National Park will take about 5 hours, with a rhino-tracking stop at Ziwa Sanctuary. Guided nature walks to see white rhinos are exclusive to Ziwa in Uganda. Have an hour with them before going to the park. Check into your lodge upon arrival at the park.

Located in northwestern Uganda, Murchison Falls National Park, the country’s largest and oldest, boasts the mighty Murchison Falls, along with a wide variety of wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, and over 500 bird species. Have a relaxing dinner and a peaceful night’s stay at the lodge.

Day 2: Full day Game drive and Afternoon Boat Trip

Arise to the calls of wildlife and begin a morning game drive in the park’s northern area, the prime location for wildlife viewing. Increased predator and herbivore activity during this period means sightings of elephants, lions, giraffes, hyenas, and various birds are more likely. Our 3-hour morning game drive will be followed by breakfast and relaxation back at the lodge.

This afternoon, a luxury boat cruise will take you to the base of Murchison Falls, where the powerful Nile River plunges through a narrow gorge, generating a spectacular display of sound and water. During the cruise, you can see hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants bathing, and many kinds of birds. Go back to the lodge to relax. Have a peaceful overnight and enjoy dinner as you watch the sunset.

Day 3: Fly to Kihihi Airstrip and transfer to Bwindi

After a leisurely breakfast, you will drive to Pakuba Airstrip for a private charter and fly to Kihihi Airstrip for about 2 hours, offering aerial views of Uganda’s landscape. Upon arrival, our representative will pick you up for the next gorilla trekking experience, who will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Uganda’s prime gorilla destination, renowned for having almost half of the world’s mountain gorillas and thus is popular for gorilla trekking, giving visitors a chance to visitors to encounter the mountain gorillas in their natural habitats. The park is also home to the indigenous Batwa people, who offer an exciting safari experience. Arrive at your exclusive lodge and check in. You may opt for a spa treatment or spend a relaxed evening with stunning views of the forest. Enjoy your delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking and Community Tour

Enjoy a leisurely, heavy breakfast at the lodge and later gather at the park headquarters for a briefing about mountain gorilla trekking. After the briefing, a park guide will assign you a gorilla family. You will start your Bwindi Gorilla trekking experience right away through the dense forest in search of the mountain gorillas, where you will encounter other animal species.

Once you find the gorillas, you may spend 1 hour in their presence while witnessing these gentle giants taking care of their young ones and relaxing in their usual environment, thus offering an extraordinary experience. Later, you will descend to the starting point, and we will award you the gorilla trekking certificate.

In the late afternoon, you will embark on a community tour to visit the Batwa or Bakiga communities, where you will engage in traditional activities such as music, dance and storytelling, giving you a chance to learn about the preservation of their culture and lifestyle.

Day 5: Fly to Kajjansi Airstrip and Departure

Enjoy a last breakfast at the lodge, then we will transfer you to Kihihi Airstrip. Fly to Kajjansi Airstrip, and we will transfer you to Entebbe International Airport for your departure after your 5 days Uganda Luxury Safari.
