This 2 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari offers a lot to discover in the shortest period, starting from the Big 4 mammals. These include; lions, elephants, buffaloes, and leopards, as well as birds, boat cruises, and many others. The game drive in the morning is so mind-relaxing and a pleasant experience to see carnivorous animals. Lions, leopards, and hyenas take down games, especially the buffaloes, duikers, antelopes, and warthogs.

You will be able to see browsers like elephants and grazers like buffaloes in the savannah grasslands, there are different birds to watch as well since the park is a birds’ sanctuary with over 600 bird species, and spot different primates from blue monkeys, vervet to colobus monkeys.

Day 1. Transfer from Kampala/Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Our driver guide will pick you up from the hotel as early as 7:00 am, brief you about the journey, and set off. You will use Mubende-Fort Portal Road where you will have lunch in Kabarole district and continue to the park. Have short stopovers for scenic viewing and photography as you enjoy the ranges of Fort Portal and Mount. Rwenzori. You will be able to spot tens of crater lakes as you continue to the lodge. Arrive in the late evening and check in at your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2. Game drive and transfer back to Kampala

On this beautiful day, wake up as early as 6:30 am, pack your luggage, have breakfast, and go for an early morning game drive. This activity offers one a chance to meet the big 4 in their natural habitat. These include; Buffaloes, Elephants, Lions, and Leopards. One can also see different bird species, especially savannah birds.

There is an option of trekking chimpanzees in Kalinzu or Kyambura forest on your way back to Kampala. Use the Mbarara-Kampala Highway. A stopover at Igongo Cultural Center which is about 8km out of Mbarara city. Here, you will have your lunch, visit a museum, and continue to Kampala.

A second stopover will be at the Equator where the world is at Zero degrees. Take pictures, buy some souvenirs from the craft shops, and continue to Kampala/Entebbe for departure. This will mark the end of your amazing 2 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari.
