Day 1: Airport/hotel pick up-Amboseli National Park

Meet the Kenya tour driver for briefing about this amazing safari -9 Days. After the short briefing, set out of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport –JKIA for Amboseli, about 4-5 hours’ drive inclusive of stunning view of the countryside.

Amboseli is a rich-savanna grassland park lying at the Kenya & Tanzania border. This is home to numerous herds of elephants and other big game. Check in at the lodge for a relaxed evening, refreshments, dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Viewing (Amboseli)

Day 2 is dedicated for you to explore in-depth the Amboseli National Park. Today’s game drive comes with uninterrupted view of wildlife plus a picnic lunch. Amboseli wildlife encounters include large herds of elephants, dik-dik, buffaloes, leopards, lions, mongoose, giraffes, lesser Kudus, wild dogs, hyrax, and more.

Day 3: To Ol’Pejeta Conservancy

Enjoy breakfast at leisure and you will check out then proceed on a 3-4 hours’ drive to Ol’Pejeta Conservancy. This is lying around Mount Kenya foothills in Laikipia Plateau. The largest population of black and white rhinos resides within this conservancy area, plus other big 5 game members. You will also visit the orphaned chimpanzees in Sweetwater’s Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Arrive early, settle for lunch and engage in an afternoon game viewing in the conservancy area.

Day 4: Full-day wildlife excursion (Ol’Pejeta Conservancy)

After breakfast, you will set off for a full-day wildlife expedition and exit the lodge with some packed lunch. A myriad of animal species will be spotted today, especially the big 5 game members, African wild dogs, cheetahs, Jackals, bat-eared foxes, caracals, serval cats, spotted hyenas, hartebeest, bushbucks, elands, zebras, gazelles, and many birds.

Cross to the Sweetwater’s Chimp Sanctuary- Kenya’s only spot to find rescued/orphaned chimpanzees. You will closely watch chimpanzees and how they behave while taking photos.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha

Enjoy a hefty breakfast and after, exit Ol’Pejeta for Lake Naivasha, a renowned birding spot in Kenya and East Africa. Arrive early for lunch and later, exit the accommodation property for boat ride with an experienced birding guide. Time permitting; you will also embark on walking safari while spotting wildlife and birds along the shores and the likely bird sightings include cormorants, fish-eagles, pelicans and more.

Day 6: Cross to Masai Mara National Reserve

Enjoy a delicious breakfast and later check out of the lodge facility. Start your road trip to Maasai Mara National Reserve in Southwestern Kenya. This rich-ecosystem is home to wildebeests, all the big 5 game members, zebras, cheetahs, Thomson’s gazelles, 500 bird species and more. The reserve experiences the annual migration of wildebeests, gazelles and zebras from July to October.

Day 7: Full-Day wildlife game drive & wildebeest migration (Masai Mara)

Begin the day with breakfast and after, set out of accommodation with some packed lunch. Embark on a full-day wildlife safari in the savannas of Maasai Mara expecting to come across diversity of wildlife and a must-enjoy experience: wildebeest migration- the world’s natural wonder. Today’s game drive also lets you see other wildlife including rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras and birds. Get back to the wilderness lodge for dinner and a night sleep.

Day 8: Balloon tours & game drive (Masai Mara)

After breakfast or you will set out of the lodge for the morning hot air balloon tour combined with bush breakfast.  Enjoy a remarkable aerial view of wildlife over the sweeping Masai Mara plains. Besides balloon tours, there will be a normal game drive that lets you encounter animal species such as zebras, elephants, buffaloes, gazelles, hippos, cheetahs, birds and more.

Day 9: Exiting game drive & departure
