Getting to the Rwenzori Mountain

Road and air transportation are the safest ways to reach Rwenzori Mountain. Each option makes it easier for adventure seekers to reach the mountains.

Road transportation can take you to the Rwenzori Mountains from different locations. Most trips to the mountain begin from Entebbe or Kampala and take between 7 and 8 hours. Adventure seekers can take either the Kampala-Mbarara-Bushenyi-Kasese route or Kampala via Mityana-Mubende to Fort Portal to Kasese (the shortest path).
